Town Park

The Ellendale Town Park is open year round (weather permitting) and is equipped with playground equipment, a gazebo, and a pavilion that houses 6 picnic tables.
Ellendale Park is a TRASH FREE PARK, so we ask that you take all trash with you when you leave.

Reservations are required for use of the pavilion for gatherings. This reservation is only for the pavilion, the park will remain open to the public throughout the time the pavilion is reserved.

YOU MUST CALL TO RESERVE THE PAVILION!!! PLEASE CALL TOWN HALL AT 302-422-6727.

At that time, you can check the availability of the date and time you are considering, learn about the Rental Fee, and arrange to meet and go over the guidelines for the park. Please keep in mind there are no portable restrooms facilities or electric provided in the park. Also, NO PETS allowed in the park!

All Park Rules must be followed.
The reservations are for a three-hour window (i.e. 12pm-3pm) and is only for the pavilion, the park is still an open public place for all.
A trash can and trash bag will be provided that day during your party for your convenience. All trash and evidence of the gathering must be cleaned up prior to getting the deposit back.
You may hang decorations from the posts with thumb tacks or tape only, which must be removed without damage prior to getting your deposit back.
You may use thumb tacks or tape only to hold down tablecloths, but again, these must be removed without damage prior to getting the deposit back.
No writing on or any destruction of any equipment, bench, or structure in the park, and that includes sidewalk chalk.
ALL users of the park MUST adhere to the rules and regulations of the park. Those in violation may be asked to leave.

  • PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK
  • NO PETS
  • NO CHILD UNDER AGE 7 WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION
  • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
  • NO PROFANITY
  • NO GLASS CONTAINERS
  • NO LITTERING

ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THESE RULES (ORDINANCE #200) SHALL BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON A CONVICTION THEREOF SHALL BE FINED NOT LESS THAN TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00), NOR MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) AND SHALL ALSO PAY THE COST OF PROSECUTION.
